The South African brandy industry has a rich and proud history of brandy making stretching back over 330 years. Today, brandy connoisseurs throughout the world agree that some of the finest brandies emanate from South Africa.

Visit a cooperage, experience the ‘angel’s share’ in a brandy maturation cellar, tantalise your taste buds with a coffee, chocolate and brandy pairing, and appreciate an excellent South African potstill brandy.

The Western Cape Brandy Route includes Somerset West, Stellenbosch, Paarl, Franschhoek, Wellington and Grabouw. The R62 Brandy Route includes Worcester, Robertson, Barrydale, Calitzdorp, Oudtshoorn and De Rust.
